Niche? Well we decided to go Broad!
Find Your Niche and Disrupt It
Well not sure! A lot of Early stage founders want to find a niche. The niche could be “Female Breast Cancer Patient”. And while this sounds amazing to be that specific about the detail, well How would you, a person with no resource, ever reach exactly the target audience you have the niche for.
Also, How would you decide that what you want to build a product around, exactly matches this niche, so early in your Startup.
Markoknow, Build to make networking accessible to Budding Entrepreneurs and Early Stage Entrepreneurs who do not have an Ivy League College network to make their journey possible, Did take a BROAD when people told to be NICHE.
Why We Chose to be Broad?
- Less market presence to create an attention among st Niche
- Not exactly aware of if what we offer is, what a niche would require.
- Funnel Top to Bottom approach
- Less resources means take everyone in before you know who is the right audience
- Grab the fruits at lower ends first.
Our Target
We wanted to build a rich network of Early stage and Budding Entrepreneurs who would indulge in active sessions with other entrepreneurs and make paths for each other
Our Challenge
It is always tough to target an outright Founder’s Layer
Our Approach
We took to going around colleges and arranging sessions for the. That means, we had our events tested and we had a few eyeballs to being 0 to 0.5.
Now, we started upgrading our sessions and events to make them more targeted and significant to the audience we have largely been liked and appreciated by, which is — Early Stage Founders.
So we are soon going to organise one of our biggest event — “50 Founders”, a networking and gel up round for 50 early stage founders who would get lot more than just attending an interactive workshop. They would get their long term contacts and maybe few orders.
